You’ve hit the nail on the head – the price of having our financial institutions be trusted again is getting over our love affair with CEOs. Accountability is what we need & lots of it. If you’re a small time hood and you fleece a couple of people, you go to jail – no one makes excuses for you or says your victims are stupid. You fleece thousands of hard working people and you get 130k – absolutely fails the smell test. When obvious wrong is not punished, the institution doesn’t deserve respect.
