home lenders refinance mortgage

December 7, 2008

does anyone know of any mortgage lenders that will refinance our home even if we have been in a forclosure in?

Bobbie asked:

We went into a forclosure not due to lack of income but lack of communication with our lenders.( long story) we are looking to get away from them and start fresh with another lender.our payoff amount is $235,7000 and our appraisal was $325,000.We have a decent income and need some advice.thank you.

Find a mortgage broker in your area. They group several people together and approach a bank to take all at a negotiated rate. This helps when your credit rating isn’t the best.

There are mortgage brokers out there that work with lenders that have programs specifically for people with foreclosure/bankruptcy issues. A mortgage broker offers more programs than a regular bank, and generally works on the wholesale side.

Check out our website, or email me if you want some more information.

You should be able to pull out of foreclosure if it was due to miscomunication and not late, or no payment. Then after that refinance with a different lender. Trying to get a loan after the foreclosure is not impossible but not easy. You will need to do some footwork and research some lenders. You might end up paying a higher intrest rate or higher points on closing if that is the case. But first I would try to work it out with your lender. No bank wants a foreclosure it looks bad on there books.

These people are wonderful, have used them several times!!

If they cant do it. Try

These are two high volume lenders that find more ways to say yes, than to say no.

You’ll be able to do it. But if you are currently late on your mortg. payments no one will refi for you except crooks, so don’t take any loan you could get!!

You must let some time pass since the nasty event’s with a record of current payments.

Always worth a look. Get a free quote from these guys ( the banner at the top ). It’s a big name company that’s helped lots of people. I’d give their link here but that’s advertising for them. They helped my wife and I a few years back when we purchased our current home. It never hurts to look around for a better rate. Good luck!
